Doug Crocco is an artist and curator based in Los Angeles, California. He has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Palm Beach, Miami, Boston, and Melbourne. He received his MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2004. From 2015 to 2020 he was owner and director of the project space Big Pictures Los Angeles. Prior to that he published cult2vader, a curated image bank of contemporary art and culture. He is currently producing new artworks, and spending time between Palm Beach, Los Angeles, and Mexico City working on new projects.

Big Pictures Los Angeles was a project space in mid-city Los Angeles, founded in 2014 to show underserved mid-career artists, present new forms of digital media, and collaborate with artists in Miami and New York. It was part of a cluster of galleries that opened on Washington Blvd around 2015 — Hilde, Kamra International, Park View, Kristina Kite, Ochi Projects, Shoot the Lobster, Michael Thibault and The Underground Museum. It closed in 2020. Today the program carries on as curatorial projects at spaces around the world.
