Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is pleased to present Doug Crocco: Entropy: January 23-February 19, 2010. Crocco addresses belief systems and American values in a time of uncertainty. His themes include fear, apprehension, hope, and individualism. His work are all hand made color pencil drawings.

 

The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is an arts venue in Hollywood, Florida The center now manages visual arts galleries in the renovated Kagey Home built in 1924, an Arts School that is adjacent to the main facility, and a 500-seat theater in Hollywood’s burgeoning downtown.. The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood was founded in 1975 as the only visual arts non-profit organization in south Broward County, operating out of a small community space on Hollywood beach. From 2007 – 2013 program directorJane Hart was known for featuring regional talent as well as artists from other places such as Los Angeles (where she lived and worked for 13 years prior to moving back to Miami), New York (where she was from originally, and attended SVA and worked in the 1980s), as well as Europe, Asia, South America and elsewhere.
